This website did not emerge in a vacuum. For years, like many others, I remained largely ignorant of the complexities and the nature of Islam, hesitant to look beyond the surface. However, I have learned that what you don’t know can indeed be a liability.

Driven by the curiosity sparked by digital algorithms, I discovered a community of brave voices who have taught me an immense amount in a very short time. Their insights compelled me to find my own corner of the internet to contribute to this vital conversation.

Each of these individuals carries a unique—and often traumatic—history. While we may not align on every single issue (a diversity of thought that is both healthy and necessary), they continue to speak their truth despite significant threats to their personal safety.
